Climb like never before... First came the dropper post, now there's the Seatswitch. The Seatswitch is a saddle angle adjuster for Vario seatposts that allows you to ride with more traction, comfort and control than ever before. With the lever, you can adjust the angle of your saddle by 6 degrees, which lowers the saddle nose by 14 mm (depending on your saddle model), or, depending on the basic installation, also raises it. This puts you in the optimum uphill position: perfectly balanced and with less pressure on critical areas. You will be able to climb faster and longer - with less pain and more control. Adjusting the saddle angle for the uphill offers many advantages:
More comfort on long rides
A greater forward tilt of the pelvis for a better posture
Better weight distribution between the handlebar grips and saddle when climbing
Improved technical climbing ability
More pressure on the rear wheel when climbing
Attention: Make sure that your saddle has sufficient height. At least 25 mm is required (measured from the centre of the saddle rail to the lower edge of the saddle)! Currently, only round standard saddle rails (Ø7mm) can be used. Adapter for oval saddle rails in progress! Features:
Weight: 200 g (+/- 5 % weight tolerance) (realistic weight increase: Seatswitch weight minus the weight of the upper and lower seatpost mounts (approx. 65 g on average))
Seatpost mount: Type 1 / additional shim available
Mounting height: + 23 mm
Minimum distance centre of saddle rail - lower edge of saddle: 25 mm
Angle adjustment: 2 positions (either -6°/neutral or neutral/+6° depending on mounting)
